  1. Debra Vogel says:

Hello — Thank you for putting this together. Do you have any leads for getting Marshall Barer’s sheet music – in particular “Be Here Now” and “Billions of Beautiful Boys?

    Thanks again,
    Debra

  2. I’m working on a page qwith all the info about the aviable sheet music for Larry and Marshall!
Keep in touch! anyway i have not find any info (so far) about “What Is Love”

    Alas!

  3. Thomas Hawkins says:

Great site with so much information. After hearing Liza’s rendition of ‘On such a Night as This’ my son would like to use it as his opeing number for his cabaret in december. Would you happen to know if sheet music is available?
    Thanking you in anticipation
    Thomas

  4. Do you know the lyric for the song “For the Birds”, by Marshall Barer? I used to have it, might still have it hidden somewhere, but can’t find it. Includes the lines

“If a toucan can can-can as well as a man can”

    and

“What one toucan can do, two can too”

Cynthia Crane performed it as “Chanson de la Crane”.

  5. Found the Cynthia Crane video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCQkcPun_KQ), and then transcribed the final four lines:

If one toucan can can-can as well as a man can
And two can perform pas de deux
Let us be like two toucans in tutus
What one toucan can do, two can too

Crane says that Barer told her it was written for her, and that he called it “Chanson de la Crane”, but I believe the original title is “For the Birds”.

  6. xxixii020103 says:
